Translations are charged by the line (55 characters/spaces per line) or word at a rate depending on their complexity, the amount of research required and the format of the source text (machine readable/non-readable file or paper).

If I have already done a similar translation for you in the past, a discount will be applied for any matches and repetitions. An extra charge is made for urgent jobs after 6 p.m. or at the weekend.

Editing and other proofreading is charged at an hourly rate. To ensure that you have a solid basis from which to calculate the costs of your project, I like to work on the text for one hour to start with. This enables you to get an impression of my work at a reasonable fixed price.
